Mumbai: MullenLowe Lintas Group India has announced its recognition as one of the ‘100 Best Companies for Women in India’ (BCWI) for the second year in a row by Avtar and Seramount. The company has also improved its ranking in 2024, underscoring its continued commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and empowering workplace for women.

The BCWI study, conducted annually by Avtar, India’s leading Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) firm, in collaboration with Seramount, a US-based professional services and research organization, identifies companies setting industry benchmarks in gender diversity. MullenLowe Lintas Group’s improved standing reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to foster gender equality, providing women with greater opportunities to thrive and excel in the workplace.

Commenting on this consecutive recognition, Alex Leikikh, Executive Vice President, Interpublic Group and CEO, MullenLowe Global said, “Being recognized as one of the Best Companies for Women in India for the second year in a row underscores the team’s ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion. And it’s not just talk. The policies, resources and support put in place to provide equal opportunity for women is raising the bar in India and across our global network.”

The BCWI study, now in its ninth edition, assesses companies on their gender inclusion practices across various areas, including recruitment, retention, career advancement, and work-life balance. The application process for the study is rigorous, involving nearly 300 detailed questions to evaluate company policies, programs, and practices that support gender inclusivity in the workplace. MullenLowe Lintas Group’s improved ranking is a direct result of the company’s continuous efforts to create an environment where women can succeed and lead.

Expressing his pride, Subbu, Group CEO & CSO-APAC, MullenLowe Global said, “Winning once was encouraging, but twice in a row is really empowering. Awards of this kind make us more than an agency. Once again, this award is a tribute to all our amazing women who have raised the bar for the proud MullenLowe Lintas Group with their intent, intellect, and instinct. We pledge to stay consistent as an organisation where women can rapidly progress, prosper, and live a culture in which they can express themselves without any constraints.”

MullenLowe Lintas Group is the only advertising agency in India to be featured on the prestigious BCWI list, sharing this honor with leading companies across various sectors. This accolade reaffirms the Group’s leadership in the Indian advertising industry as an employer of choice for women, setting a benchmark for inclusivity and gender equality in the workplace.

Garima Pant, Group Chief HR Officer, MullenLowe Lintas Group, emphasized the significance of inclusion, saying, “For us at Lintas, Inclusion is way of life. It resonates with our business and is the key to innovation and productivity. We not only reach out to more people, but we also resonate with them. When we talk about Inclusion, it’s not about how often we spell it out, but we prove it through real measurable actions “

MullenLowe Lintas Group has built a long-standing reputation for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, with over 39% female representation among its employees. The company continues to play a proactive role in the gender equality dialogue, implementing a range of initiatives designed to empower women within the organization. These include the Apex DEI Council, the Women of the Future Leadership Program, and a Gender-Neutral Parental Leave Policy, all of which contribute to a more equitable workplace.

Other key initiatives include universal primary caregiver leave (26 weeks of maternity leave), preferential parking for expectant and new mothers, dedicated mother’s rooms, crèche benefits, hybrid working for new mothers, and OPD coverage for vaccinations. The Group has also introduced several employee-friendly policies that promote mental and physical well-being, such as scheduled downtime, holiday homes, and funded vacations.

The BCWI study evaluates companies across critical areas such as recruitment, retention, career advancement, and work-life balance, with a particular focus on how policies directly impact the career growth of women. MullenLowe Lintas Group’s improved ranking highlights its continued progress in these areas and its proactive approach to fostering gender diversity within the organization.
