Share Share ShareShare

Mumbai: Amagi, a global platform in cloud-based SaaS solutions for broadcast and streaming TV (CTV), has announced a strategic partnership with Sports Studio, Inc., a premier sports platform known for its Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) channels and consumer-facing apps under the FreeLiveSports.TV (FLS) brand.

As part of this collaboration, Amagi will serve as Sports Studio’s technology, content, and monetization partner, providing cloud streaming and distribution solutions to enhance the reach of sports content across multiple platforms. The partnership will facilitate the seamless distribution of Free Live Sports, making it easier for fans to discover their favorite sports channels.

By leveraging Amagi’s advanced cloud technology, Sports Studio aims to empower sports rights holders to connect with their audiences across the FAST ecosystem. Additionally, Sports Studio will offer full-service channel creation and operations, enabling rights holders to monetize their content effectively without needing in-house capabilities.

Currently, Free Live Sports boasts 120 dedicated FAST channels, including 40 premium sports channels powered by Amagi, making it one of the largest collections of FAST sports content worldwide.

Srinivasan KA, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Amagi, stated, “This partnership with Sports Studio underscores Amagi’s commitment to growing audiences for our content partners. By providing our robust cloud-based technology along with our content marketplace, we enable rights holders to reach new audiences effectively and streamline their content monetization efforts.”

Cathy Rasenberger, Co-President of Sports Studio, added, “Partnering with Amagi is crucial in realizing our vision for a premier sports platform. Their comprehensive technology and deep understanding of the streaming ecosystem will enable us to offer unparalleled channel creation and distribution capabilities to sports rights holders. This will allow content creators to reach their target audience more effectively and monetize their content to its fullest potential.”

Amagi continues to be a preferred technology partner for major global media brands, offering AI-driven cloud solutions for content distribution, automation, and monetization. Some of Amagi’s notable clients include A+E Networks UK, ABS-CBN, Astro, Cox Media Group, DAZN, Globo, Lionsgate Studio, NBCUniversal, Tastemade, and VIZIO.

Amagi will showcase its latest advancements at NAB 2025 in Las Vegas from April 6–9 at Booth W1721. To learn more about Amagi’s AI-powered streaming solutions, visit: https://www.amagi.com/events/nab-show-las-vegas.
