Bengaluru: As it marks its sixth anniversary, independent creative agency The Script Room has announced a significant leadership addition to bolster its growing team. Alisha Sharma, an award-winning creative leader with over a decade of experience, has been appointed as Executive Creative Director.
Founded with a clear vision to place the story and storyteller at the heart of the creative process, The Script Room has earned a reputation for its distinctive narratives and clutter-breaking storytelling. With Alisha’s appointment, the agency is poised to further strengthen its creative muscle.
Alisha brings with her an impressive portfolio of work across leading brands such as Spotify, PepsiCo (Lays and Doritos), Amazon, Asian Paints, and MP Tourism. Her campaigns have been celebrated at global and national award platforms including Cannes Lions, One Show, Spikes Asia, Clio Awards, and Effies India. She has also served on prestigious juries, most notably the Young Director Awards at Cannes.
She played a pivotal role in launching Spotify in India, shaping its brand tone and leading culturally resonant campaigns like ‘Life kate mazze se, jab music chale Spotify pe’ and ‘There’s a Playlist for That’, contributing to its emergence as the leading music streaming platform in the country. Previously, she held senior creative positions at Ogilvy and Leo Burnett, crafting acclaimed campaigns for both global and Indian brands.
Commenting on her new role, Alisha said, “You know you’re in the right room when conversations spark ideas, and story stays at the center. What drew me to The Script Room was simple—it gets the story and the storyteller. After seven years, I wasn’t just looking for change, I was waiting for the right place. Now I’m here, excited to shape this room into a house full of stories, with the people who make it what it is.”
The Script Room co-founders expressed their enthusiasm about this new chapter.
Rajesh Ramaswamy, Co-Founder, said, “We’re delighted to have Alisha join us. We really love the way she thinks and it’s a joy to watch her work. It resonates a lot with our sensibilities. We hope to create some great ads together.”
Ayyappan Raj, Co-Founder, added, “Alisha comes on board at just the right time—as we celebrate six years of our journey and look ahead to an exciting future. Bringing someone as talented and grounded as Alisha into the fold is a key part of our plans. She will help add dimension to our creative offering and further enhance our appeal as a brand. And of course, she’s superb to work with—everyone loves her, clients and collaborators alike.”
With Sharma’s appointment, The Script Room deepens its creative bench and signals its intent to scale new creative heights while staying true to its storytelling ethos.
