Hyderabad: Woxsen University has announced the appointment of Vishal Khurma as Group Chief Executive Officer. In his expanded role, Khurma will continue to lead the university’s strategic growth while overseeing associated entities across India and the Middle East, further strengthening its global outlook and institutional expansion.
Khurma has been associated with Woxsen University since 2019 and has played a pivotal role in shaping its strategic direction and operational scale. Over the past several years, he has driven nearly 12X revenue growth, leading key functions and spearheading transformation initiatives across core institutional areas. His leadership has significantly enhanced the university’s brand, reach, and overall impact.
With over 25 years of cross-sector experience spanning consumer goods, retail, telecom, and higher education, Khurma has held senior leadership roles at leading organisations such as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Dabur, and Tata Teleservices. His expertise in aligning strategy with execution has helped strengthen revenue performance, deepen industry integration, and enhance placement outcomes at Woxsen, positioning it as a benchmark in industry-driven higher education in India.
