Mumbai: Nature’s Basket, the premium food retail brand under the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has announced the appointment of Tanushree R as its new Head of Marketing.
Founded in 2005 as a single gourmet store in Mumbai, Nature’s Basket has since evolved into a leading omni-channel retail destination. Today, the brand operates through a network of physical stores across key Indian cities, complemented by a robust digital presence via its online portal and mobile app.
Tanushree brings with her over 15 years of experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, and integrated communication. She announced her new role at Nature’s Basket through a post on LinkedIn.
Most recently, she served as Associate Vice President at WPP. Prior to that, she was Business Director at OLIVER Agency, where she led strategic marketing initiatives across consumer categories. Between 2016 and 2020, she held Head of Marketing roles at Coccoon Beauty and pet care brand Captain Zack. From 2013 to 2016, she led creative strategy at Digitalhathi.
Tanushree began her career with L’Oréal India in 2008 as a Marketing Coordinator, before moving to The Communication Council as Brand Manager, gaining deep expertise in brand building and consumer engagement.
Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment as Nature’s Basket continues to strengthen its positioning in India’s premium food retail segment, with a strong focus on customer experience and digital innovation.
