Mumbai: Zee Marathi has etched its name in history with the grand launch of its much-awaited fiction show Kamali, marked by a record-breaking and emotionally resonant event in Thane, Maharashtra. In a powerful tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, over 3,000 school children joined the show’s lead character, Kamali, in chanting the sacred Shivstuti—a devotional ode that echoed across Saraswati Mandir Trust Ground on June 28th at 10:30 AM.
This spiritual and cultural spectacle not only set a reverent tone for the show’s debut but also achieved a remarkable milestone by entering the World Records Book of India. The recognition came with an official certificate and medal presented to the Kamali team, amplifying excitement around the show’s premiere.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the lead cast — Vijaya Babar (Kamali), Ketaki Kulkarni (Anika), and Nikhil Damle (Rishi) — who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the students in this moving tribute. Their presence transformed the morning into a vibrant celebration of heritage, emotion, and community spirit.
Set against the backdrop of Maharashtra’s cultural legacy, Kamali brings to life a story of courage, resilience, and unwavering determination. As Zee Marathi continues to connect deeply with its viewers through culturally rooted narratives, this grand launch exemplifies its commitment to storytelling that inspires and uplifts.
Kamali airs every day at 9:00 PM, only on ‘Sadaiv Tumchi Zee Marathi’.
