New Delhi: The upcoming IAMGAME Sports Conclave 2025, set to take place on July 18–19 at Andaz Delhi by Hyatt, Aerocity, is poised to bring together leading voices from across the sports, technology, and venture capital sectors to explore the rapidly growing landscape of India’s sports economy.
At the heart of this year’s conclave is ‘The Game Plan’, a closed-door investor pitch session that offers selected early-stage sports startups a unique opportunity to present their ideas directly to an esteemed panel of investors. Participating names include Apurva Chamaria (Google), Lloyd Mathias (Angel Investor), and Pawan Raj Kumar (Zeca Ventures). Each venture will have 15 minutes to pitch, followed by interactive feedback and strategic dialogue—designed to sharpen ideas and foster real funding opportunities.

“India’s sports economy is evolving with exciting momentum, driven by the efforts of athletes, entrepreneurs, and institutions alike. At IAMGAME, our focus is on creating spaces for genuine collaboration and exchange. ‘The Game Plan’ is an initiative that brings promising startups closer to those who can help them refine their ideas, expand their networks, and shape impactful journeys within the sports space,” said Karan Singh Chettri, Founder & CEO, IAMGAME.

Adding to this, Mandeep Malhotra, Co-Founder & Director, IAMGAME, noted, “We see IAMGAME as more than an event; it’s a platform for building future-facing conversations around sports entrepreneurship. With ‘The Game Plan’, we’re creating a space where ventures can connect with enablers and decision-makers in meaningful ways.”
IAMGAME 2025 will also host high-impact sessions exploring the intersection of grassroots sports innovation, esports, scalable revenue models, and future-ready infrastructure. Other highlights include panels on public-private partnerships, fan engagement in the digital age, and new investment strategies in the sports ecosystem.
Prominent speakers for this edition include Sudhanshu Mittal, President of the International Kho Kho Federation; Krishnan Chatterjee, Google Cloud India; Vinit Karnik, GroupM; Darshana Bhalla, D’Artist Sports Ventures; and Arjun Singh, Grant Thornton Bharat.
A special focus will be placed on athlete-led ventures, women-led sports businesses, and the impact of data and media in driving reach, regional content creation, and inclusivity in India’s sporting narrative.
“IAMGAME 2025” aims to become a catalyst for collaboration and innovation, engaging everyone from athletes and entrepreneurs to investors and policymakers, in building a thriving, future-focused sports economy.
