Mumbai: Kia India has announced the appointment of Atul Sood as Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, effective immediately.
In his new role, Sood will report to Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, and will be responsible for steering the brand’s nationwide sales strategy and operations.
With close to three decades of experience in the automotive industry, Atul Sood brings a wealth of knowledge in business growth, dealer network expansion, and customer-focused innovations. Before joining Kia, he most recently served as President and Director at Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India (TMSS).
Sood’s previous stints include key leadership roles at Toyota Kirloskar Motors and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management & HRD (SCMHRD), Pune, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
