Mumbai: Pan-India superstar and beloved youth icon Rashmika Mandanna has announced the launch of her very own fragrance brand — Dear Diary — a deeply personal olfactory venture rooted in memory, emotion, and identity. More than a perfume line, Dear Diary is a collection of scents that narrate untold stories and capture intimate moments from Rashmika’s life.

Inspired by her widely adored digital series of the same name, Dear Diary transforms cherished memories into sensorial expressions. “For me, fragrance is memory. I don’t remember most things, or maybe it’s just selective memory, but perfumes bring back special moments that might otherwise be forgotten. It’s how I hold on to the people, places, and experiences that shaped who I am,” said Rashmika Mandanna, Founder of Dear Diary. “With Dear Diary, I wanted to give everyone a way to carry their stories with them—to connect, to feel comforted, to feel a warm hug, and to express who they are, unapologetically.”

Partnering with global distribution and brand accelerator The PCA Companies, the launch reflects a high-touch, globally attuned strategy. “When we first connected with Rashmika about Dear Diary, we immediately recognized the authenticity of her vision. Her love for fragrance, her love for India, the gratitude for her community, her unapologetic confidence, and her kindness before all life principles. The brand scents and story essentially wrote themselves,” added Crystal Wood, CMO, The PCA Companies.

Crafted with love and intention, Dear Diary features Indian-origin ingredients like jasmine, pink lotus, sugarcane, lychee, and passionfruit—celebrating both heritage and modernity. Each fragrance is tied to a real chapter in Rashmika’s life:

National Crush – A nod to the fan-bestowed title and her bond with her supporters.

Irreplaceable – Inspired by her first tattoo, reflecting self-worth and individuality.

Controversial – A bold, grounded response to public scrutiny, rooted in self-respect.

The brand’s philosophy, kindness before all, is woven through every element — from formulation to packaging — making Dear Diary a refreshing, purpose-led entrant in the fragrance industry. Rashmika’s hands-on involvement across formulation, design, and creative ensures the brand stays true to her voice.
