Mumbai: JioStar network has announced record-breaking viewership for the US Open 2025 in India, with extensive coverage across both Linear TV and digital platforms. The tournament clocked a combined 877 million minutes of watch-time, setting a new benchmark for tennis viewership in the country.
The 2025 edition, featuring a novel mixed doubles format and Hindi commentary, delivered an unprecedented performance on Linear TV with 388 million minutes of total watch-time—the highest for the US Open in the BARC era. The reach of the tournament also surged, with 18 million viewers tuning in, marking a 96% year-on-year jump. On JioHotstar, the US Open 2025 amassed 489 million minutes of watch-time, as Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz claimed the singles titles.
