Hocco, Haldiram's partner for a new product blending mithai and ice cream to celebrate the festive season

MUMBAI: Two names in India’s food landscape, Hocco Ice Cream and Haldiram’s, have teamed up with Collective Creative Labs (CCL) and folk icon Mame Khan to usher in a festive, flavorful twist with their new Diwali special: Orange Barfi Ice Cream and Milk Cake Ice Cream. Under the banner ‘Cooler, Together,’ the collaboration reimagines the festive treat as a meeting of tradition and innovation, where mithai meets ice cream and classic meets cool.

Conceptualised and executed end-to-end by CCL, the campaign is anchored by a music-led film that captures the colour, warmth, and joy of Indian celebrations. Rooted in folk-fusion aesthetics, the film unfolds as a lively celebration of togetherness, with families, friends, and couples sharing sweet, candid moments that reflect the essence of the festive season.

Adding cultural texture to the film is Mame Khan, whose desert folk voice lends the campaign its rhythm and soul. His sound ties the storytelling back to India’s timeless festive spirit. The aim.is to create a fusion that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

Visually, the campaign leans into a festive palette, soft pastels meeting marigold warmth, and modern styling offset by traditional motifs. The new Hocco x Haldiram packs feature as heroes across every frame, representing the creative blend at the heart of the idea.

Speaking about the collaboration, a spokesperson from Hocco said, “We wanted to do something fun this Diwali, something that brings people together over a sweet treat. Working with Haldiram’s felt like the perfect match. ‘Cooler, Together’ is all about celebrating those little moments of joy with family and friends, and hopefully it makes everyone’s festival a bit more special.”

Speaking on the campaign, Sanjana Jain, CEO Collective Creative Labs, said, “Hocco and Haldiram’s sit at two ends of the same emotional spectrum, nostalgia and novelty. With ‘Cooler, Together,’ we wanted to capture that harmony through sound, visuals, and rhythm, celebrating how the old and the new can come together in the sweetest way.”

With this collaboration, Hocco Ice Cream positions itself as the festive gift to think of this Diwali, a symbol of celebration that’s rooted in heritage yet refreshingly modern. And with ‘Cooler, Together,’ Collective Creative Labs once again demonstrates its creative depth and full-stack production capabilities, delivering an idea, a sound, and a film that truly make the festive season cooler, together.
