Hoopr unveils India’s largest festive music catalogue with 500+ curated tracks for brands & creators

Mumbai: In a major boost for India’s growing creator economy and festive marketing landscape, Hoopr, the country’s first music licensing platform, has announced the launch of its most expansive festive music collection to date. With over 500+ curated tracks, the collection now represents India’s largest instantly licensable festive music catalogue, available on Hoopr’s flagship licensing product, Hoopr Smash.

Designed to help brands and content creators tap into India’s culturally rich festive calendar, the collection includes songs for Navratri, Karwa Chauth, Diwali, Bhaidooj, Chhath Puja, Shivratri, Janmashtami, and Eid, among others. The catalogue features music from both celebrated artists such as Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Salim–Sulaiman, and emerging independent talent including Pawandeep Rajan, Rajeshwarie Raj, Sudhanshu Shome, and Nupoor Khedkar.

Each track is tagged across moods, genres, and campaign types, making it easier for users to match the right soundtrack with their content. From devotional and traditional to festive pop and dance numbers, the catalogue supports more than 30 content categories spanning fashion, F&B, travel, beauty, wellness, health, and more.

Enabling Campaigns That Perform

The announcement comes at a critical time for the Indian content ecosystem. As per Hoopr’s internal research, which analyzed over 25,000 short-form videos from 170+ brands, music significantly enhances performance metrics:

  • Content using music gets 4.3x more visibility
  • Influencer-led campaigns with music show 5.3x more engagement
  • Content that combines festive music + influencers can deliver a staggering 17x boost in engagement

Between September and February, India sees its most active content window, driven by festivals such as Navratri, Durga Puja, Diwali, Christmas, New Year, Sankranti, Republic Day, and Valentine’s Day. This catalogue is designed to help brands and creators seamlessly access relevant music for timely, impactful storytelling during this high-engagement period.
