Myntra unveils ‘Myntra Mohalla’ to spotlight affordable wedding fashion for India’s shaadi season

Bengaluru: Myntra has announced the launch of ‘Myntra Mohalla’, a six-episode micro-drama series that celebrates the joy, chaos, and colour of the great Indian wedding season.

Set in a vibrant Tier-2 neighbourhood, Myntra Mohalla follows the intertwined lives of quirky and lovable characters preparing for a grand wedding in their locality. With every episode capturing a mix of relatable emotions, wedding madness, and Myntra-styled looks, the series blends storytelling with style to showcase the brand’s unmatched wedding collection.

Launching just in time for the wedding season, the series reinforces Myntra’s message that every wedding event deserves a new outfit that matches its theme and mood. From carnival-themed mehendi and fusion sangeet to fairytale weddings, Myntra ensures that every shaadi moment is stylish, effortless, and affordable — offering over 10 lakh styles under INR 499.

Featuring popular digital creators such as Yuvraj Dua, Chandni Bhabhda, Khushaal Pawaar, and Govind Menon, the micro-series delivers bite-sized, binge-worthy entertainment infused with humour, emotion, and a fashion-first narrative.

Speaking on the launch, Abhishek Gour, Senior Director, Marketing, Myntra, said, “The wedding season in India is more than an event, it’s an emotion that brings people together in celebration, style, and self-expression. Myntra Mohalla micro-series captures that spirit through endearing storytelling while highlighting how Myntra’s vast wedding collection makes wedding shopping fun, easy, affordable and effortless, ensuring everyone looks their best for every shaadi moment.”

Kushager Tuli, President, Tilt Brand Solutions, added, “At Tilt, we always try and break fresh ground with all our creative projects. And this time we’ve literally done a brand new format of a ‘micro drama’. Set against the backdrop of a small-town mohalla with an upcoming shaadi, these bite-sized, binge-worthy reels bring fashion, fun and festivity together, all with Myntra at its core. The idea was to take Myntra to fresh audiences in its core markets, all the while keying in brand cues organically and effortlessly.”

The Myntra Mohalla micro-series unfolds as a light-hearted, character-driven comedy where humour and fashion intertwine. Each episode brings to life everyday wedding dilemmas — from wardrobe worries and family drama to self-discovery and unexpected romance.

The story culminates in a heartwarming wedding finale, where every character’s unique look and journey converge, underscoring Myntra’s belief that fashion is not just about looking good, but about expressing oneself with confidence and joy.
