Mumbai: In a significant step toward elevating customer satisfaction, Dish TV India has rolled out a Lifetime Free Service Visit initiative — a first-of-its-kind offering in the DTH industry. The move directly addresses long-standing customer feedback by removing technician visit charges, historically one of the biggest pain points for subscribers.
Under the new initiative, Dish TV customers will no longer be required to pay service fees for technician visits. Traditionally, pay TV operators charge between ₹200 and ₹250 per visit. Dish TV has now revamped its service request mechanism: customers simply need to recharge their account with ₹200, and this amount is added back to their Dish TV balance — effectively resulting in zero payment toward service charges.
Previously, subscribers had to pay a service fee every time a technician was needed. With this shift, Dish TV aims to deliver a smoother, more cost-effective customer experience and reinforce the brand’s commitment to value-driven service.

“At Dish TV, our customers have always been our top priority,” said Manoj Dobhal, CEO & Executive Director, Dish TV India. “This Lifetime Free Service Visit is our way of acknowledging the value of our customers and making after-sales service truly hassle-free. By linking it to a nominal ₹200 recharge, we’re not just adding value — we’re building trust and ensuring uninterrupted service for our users across the country.”
With more than 22 years of industry leadership, Dish TV continues to be one of India’s most trusted entertainment brands. This latest initiative goes beyond a service enhancement — it underscores Dish TV’s long-standing focus on simplifying customer experience, responding to evolving consumer needs, and upholding its pillars of affordability, transparency, and excellence.
