Mumbai: Beats has partnered with global music icon Travis Scott for a new campaign film titled DARE TO DREAM, spotlighting the power of self-belief, vision and persistence that fuels creative success. The campaign features Beats’ latest innovation, Powerbeats Fit, described by Scott as his favourite Beats product to date, and debuts an unreleased track by the artist.
Inspired by a now-iconic tweet Travis Scott posted on March 5, 2011 — “ONE DAY TRAVIS SCOTT WILL BE SOMEBODY.” — the film reimagines the statement as a cinematic reflection on destiny and determination. Nearly fifteen years later, the campaign brings that belief full circle, illustrating how unwavering faith in one’s vision can transform ambition into reality.
To ground the narrative in authenticity, Beats recreated Scott’s childhood bedroom, the space where his earliest creative aspirations took shape. The film features a special appearance by his mother, Wanda Webster, and shows a young Travis producing music on his Apple iMac while wearing the original Beats Studio headphones he once owned. As he becomes immersed in music, the scene shifts into a dreamlike vision of sold-out arenas from his Circus Maximus tour, before transitioning back to reality. The moment bridges past and future when Scott discovers Powerbeats Fit in his pocket, presses play, and an unreleased track begins.
Travis Scott’s association with Beats dates back to 2015, when he first appeared in the Beats x UNDFTD collaboration, followed by Beats’ global Got No Strings campaign. The DARE TO DREAM film marks the next chapter in the long-standing relationship between the artist and the brand.
The campaign was created in collaboration with Larry Jackson, founder of gamma., and acclaimed director Anthony Mandler, both long-time creative partners of Scott. Jackson’s association with Beats traces back to the brand’s early days, having worked closely with co-founder Jimmy Iovine, making this project a full-circle moment for all involved. Advanced digital de-aging VFX were used to portray a younger version of Scott, ensuring authenticity without casting a body double.
Powerbeats Fit represents Beats’ next generation of performance earbuds, designed for artists, athletes and creators who push boundaries—mirroring the drive that defines Scott’s journey.
“This film isn’t just about where I came from — it’s about the vision I had before anyone else could see it,” said Travis Scott. “Beats has been a part of that story since the beginning.”
“Beats has always been powered by bold imagination — from Jimmy Iovine handing me the first Studio prototype in 2007 to the iconic campaigns that defined a generation. Returning now to help shape the brand’s next chapter with Dare to Dream feels like coming full circle,” said Larry Jackson, founder of gamma. “This new campaign celebrates the self-belief that turns ambition into reality, embodied perfectly by Travis Scott, who once tweeted he’d ‘be somebody’ and manifested it into one of the biggest careers on the planet. That’s what happens when you dare to dream, and we hope it inspires the next generation to do the same.”
“This campaign captures something deeply personal — the belief that greatness starts with a single idea and the courage to chase it,” said Chris Thorne, CMO, Beats. “It’s the same belief that connects Beats and Travis — and this is only the beginning of what we’ll build together.”
