Chennai: Kumudam Publications Private Limited has announced the appointment of Shankar V. Subramaniam as Executive Vice President – Strategic Growth & Media Services, reinforcing the company’s commitment to future-ready growth and business expansion.
In his new role, Subramaniam will spearhead strategic growth initiatives and oversee media services operations. He will also focus on strengthening brand positioning, forging key partnerships, and contributing to long-term business planning and revenue acceleration for the publishing house.
Subramaniam brings over 35 years of cross-media experience spanning print (dailies and magazines), television, events, and radio. Over the course of his career, he has led business development and growth strategies for several leading media organisations, including Dinamalar, India Today, The Times of India, Buena Vista Television, Zee TV, Hindustan Times Group, and Hindu Tamil Thisai.
His appointment comes at a time when legacy media brands are recalibrating their growth strategies amid evolving audience behaviour and increasing convergence across platforms. With his extensive experience across multiple formats and markets, Subramaniam is expected to play a key role in driving integrated media solutions and unlocking new revenue streams for Kumudam Publications.
