Mumbai: Edelman India today announced key leadership appointments across its India operations, naming Siddharth Panicker as Head of its Mumbai office and Karthy Prasanna as Head of its Bengaluru office. The elevations underline the firm’s strategic focus on accelerating growth, strengthening client partnerships and fostering a unified culture across its India network. Both leaders will continue to report to Bhavna Jagtiani, CEO, Edelman India.
In addition to leading the Mumbai office, Siddharth Panicker will retain his responsibilities as Head of Financial Services. A decade-long veteran at the firm, he leads one of Edelman India’s most established sectors, advising clients across banking, investment, fintech, professional services and legal industries on reputation management, positioning and media engagement. In his expanded remit, Panicker will focus on driving business performance, enhancing client leadership and nurturing talent, while further strengthening the firm’s presence in Mumbai.
Karthy Prasanna, who continues as Consumer Technology Lead, will head the Bengaluru office, a critical hub for the firm’s technology-sector work in India. With nearly 20 years of experience across consumer technology, start-ups and digital platforms, Prasanna has spearheaded the growth of Edelman’s consumer technology portfolio. He has advised high-growth, platform-led businesses on brand building, product launches and reputation programmes, while also advancing the integration of AI-led thinking into communications strategy. In his expanded role, he will prioritise scaling the business and deepening culture within the Bengaluru operations.
“I have worked closely with Siddharth and Karthy as we’ve grown the business in India, and both have played an important role in strengthening our client partnerships and shaping our culture of curiosity and excellence,” said Bhavna Jagtiani, CEO, Edelman India. “They combine strong business leadership with a people-first mindset, and these appointments recognise the impact they continue to have across the firm.”
