New Delhi: Reliance Jio, through its gaming and digital entertainment platform JioGames, has announced a strategic partnership with Good Game Group INC to launch Good Game (GG) India, positioned as the world’s first as-live global gaming reality show.
Set to premiere in July 2026, Good Game India aims to identify the country’s first global gaming superstar and is expected to reach over 500 million young viewers nationwide. The show will be available across Jio’s digital ecosystem, including JioHotstar, JioTV, as well as the JioGames website and app, offering exclusive content and behind-the-scenes access.
The show brings together a high-profile panel of judges and ambassadors, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Rishabh Pant, and Ujjwal Chaurasia, reflecting the growing convergence of gaming, entertainment, and creator culture in India. The winner will receive a prize of ₹1 crore (USD 100,000), among the highest for a reality show in the country, along with the opportunity to represent India on a global stage.
Positioned as a first-of-its-kind competitive format, Good Game India blends esports with mainstream entertainment. Participants will be evaluated not only on gaming skills but also on creativity, on-screen presence, content creation capabilities, social influence, and community-building potential.
The initiative introduces a new digital-first entertainment model that combines gaming challenges with real-world experiences and storytelling. The format integrates esports-style competitions, creator-led content, fan-driven engagement through live interactions and voting, and an always-on digital presence.
With early traction across social platforms and global touchpoints, the collaboration highlights the evolution of gaming communities into highly engaged, creator-driven ecosystems, marking a significant step in India’s growing gaming and digital entertainment landscape.
