MUMBAI: Angoor AI – an AI-native Customer Interaction Platform that helps businesses automate their customer engagement across different platforms like WhatsApp, Calls, Shopify, Web, Instagram, Email, Messenger, among others has raised INR 2 Crore in a pre-seed funding round.

The fresh capital will be deployed towards building an enterprise sales function, expanding the product and engineering team, and accelerating the company’s path to product-led growth.

The Bengaluru-based startup was founded in Oct 2023 by three IIT Bombay graduates Arpit Agrawal, (Co-Founder and CEO), Anuj Agrawal, (Co-Founder and CTO), and Rishabh Kumar, (Co-Founder and CPO). The recent funding was led by Venturizer and prominent angel investors, including Uday Sodhi, (ex Business Head, SonyLIV, and Co-Founder of Founders Room Capital), Tarun Billa (Tech Lead at JP Morgan, Singapore), and Mayank Singh Tomar.

“Today’s B2C businesses are present everywhere, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Email, Website, App, and Voice- but operating nowhere cohesively. Customers expect a seamless experience; what they get is a disconnected one. Behind the scenes, teams are juggling fragmented tools, losing context, and burning resources just to keep up. That’s not a communication problem. That’s the business problem we are solving,” said Arpit Agrawal, (Co-Founder & CEO), Angoor AI.

Angoor AI builds a unified contextual layer that sits over a brand’s existing stack of CRM, support, marketing, and sales tools – creating a singular omnipresent view of the customer that carries forward across every interaction, channel, and stage of the customer life cycle. The platform automates customer acquisition, engagement, support, and remarketing using AI, enabling brands to operate 24×7 without dependence on human availability.

Since hitting product-market fit in July 2025, Angoor AI has onboarded more than 20 B2C and D2C brands across India and the UK, including Sanfe, InstaAstro, Apps For Bharat, 3ioNetra, Rupyz, StudentTenant, and FitProperty. The company is now looking at the US market as part of its expansion plans.

With the fresh capital infusion, the founders plan to build out an enterprise sales team, expand the product and engineering function as well as lay the infrastructure for a product-led growth motion.

The need for a unified, AI-native platform has never been higher. We evaluated multiple startups globally; Angoor AI stood out on both integration simplicity, technical depth, and founding team capability,” said Ashish Mishra, (Co-Founder, Venturizer).

Businesses can utilise Angoor AI to streamline their communication infrastructure by centralising all their content and database under one roof, automating management and feedback of their brand on social media platforms like Instagram, while also connecting Angoor AI with a host of external applications.
