Mumbai: MagicDecor, the design-led home décor brand backed by Pidilite Ventures, has promoted Surendra Kumar Sahoo to Vice President of Sales, reinforcing its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on scaling revenue operations and expanding market reach across India.
The appointment comes at a time when MagicDecor is witnessing steady growth in the customised wallpapers and spatial design solutions segment, serving residential, commercial, and hospitality markets. In his new role, Sahoo will lead the company’s entire sales vertical, with a mandate to strengthen revenue systems, expand into newer markets, and build a more structured, data-driven sales organisation.
Sahoo has been associated with MagicDecor for over six years, during which he has risen through the ranks from sales executive to senior sales leader. Over his tenure, he has managed teams of more than 100 sales professionals and played a key role in driving revenue growth across major markets. His expertise spans both direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) sales, with strong capabilities in customer acquisition, conversion strategy, and team development.
Speaking on his promotion, Surendra Kumar Sahoo said, “Sales today is about clarity, trust and consistency. As we scale, the focus is on building systems that make it easier for customers to make decisions while creating predictable and sustainable growth. I look forward to strengthening our sales processes and building high-performing teams.”

Commenting on the leadership elevation, Sidd Panda, Co-Founder and CEO of Magic Decor, said, “Surendra’s journey reflects the culture we are building at Magic Decor. He has grown with the company and has consistently delivered results with discipline and ownership. His understanding of the business and the customer will be important as we scale our sales organisation further.”
The leadership move underscores MagicDecor’s broader strategy to deepen operational efficiency while building a scalable growth engine, as the company continues to strengthen its footprint in India’s evolving home décor market.
