Mumbai: Shakti Tokas has been named as AVP – Brand and Communications Marketing at IndusInd Bank. He joins the bank from Propagate India, where he was associated as Brand Partner.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Shakti shared, “Almost a decade ago I walked into the advertising agency ecosystem as a trainee who didn’t know what he didn’t know. Today, I’m joining IndusInd Bank’s Marketing Communications team as AVP – Marketing. Moving in-house, owning a brand from the inside for the first time, at a bank in the middle of rewriting its own story. Terrifying in the best way.
The agencies gave me the clients, the late nights, the pitches won and lost, and the people who turned all of it into something I’ll carry. Tokas brings nearly a decade of experience across brand marketing, communications, digital marketing, business strategy, social media management, brand awareness, and integrated marketing campaigns. Over the course of his career, he has worked across advertising agencies and brand ecosystems, building expertise in developing communication strategies and driving brand growth.
Prior to joining IndusInd Bank, Tokas was associated with Propagate India as Brand Partner. Earlier, he held roles at FoxyMoron, DDB Mudra Group, and Addictive Media. He began his career in 2016 as an Account Executive at Addictive Media.
In his new role, Tokas will be responsible for contributing to IndusInd Bank’s brand and marketing communications initiatives as the organisation continues to strengthen its brand narrative and customer engagement efforts.
