New Delhi: Burson Group has announced the appointment of Kapil Sharma as Chief Client Officer for India, reinforcing the agency’s focus on strengthening client partnerships and driving strategic growth across key sectors.
Kapil Sharma returns to Burson, where he began his communications career as part of the company’s Associate Learning Programme. He brings over two decades of experience in strategic communications and reputation management across global brands and industries.
Prior to joining Burson Group India, Kapil spent more than 12 years at Ford Motor Company, serving as Head of Communications, India, where he led corporate, brand, CSR and social communications strategies. Most recently, he held the role of Director of Communications for International Markets Group, overseeing product communications across nine international markets from Bangkok, Thailand. Earlier in his career, he also led communications for BMW India.
In his new role, Kapil will report to Deepshikha Dharmaraj, CEO, Burson Group India, and will focus on strengthening client relationships, driving long-term value creation and leading business development initiatives across sectors including automotive, aviation, travel, manufacturing, renewable energy and professional services.
