Mumbai: ShepHertz, the applied AI platform company behind AgentAnywhere, wAnywhere, BrowseAnywhere, and TalentAnywhere, has appointed Anuraag Kochhar as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening its leadership team as it advances its next phase of innovation and global expansion.
With close to three decades of international experience across software engineering, cloud architecture, enterprise AI, data science and business leadership, Kochhar will lead ShepHertz’s technology strategy, product innovation, platform engineering and AI-led transformation initiatives. His appointment comes as the company continues to scale its sovereign AI and workforce intelligence platforms across global markets and regulated sectors.
Kochhar brings extensive experience spanning India, the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia. He began his career in software engineering, building embedded systems and cryptographic solutions for smart cards, mobile devices and set-top boxes at organisations including Motorola, Schlumberger and STG. He was also nominated to Motorola’s Business Leadership Development Programme, gaining early exposure to commercial and leadership functions.
Over the years, he expanded into enterprise technology and business leadership roles, serving in senior positions at Teleste in Finland and SMT Electronic Technology in Taiwan, where he established legal entities, led country operations and worked with government and regulatory bodies, including India’s Bureau of Indian Standards. More recently, he has driven innovation across cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain and data science through leadership roles at organisations including Bizburd and Webenza, while also co-founding healthcare technology ventures.
Kochhar holds an Executive General Management Programme qualification from IIM Bangalore and is also a Certified Independent Director from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
Commenting on his appointment, Anuraag Kochhar, Chief Technology Officer, ShepHertz, said, “ShepHertz is among the few companies that have been building real, production-grade AI infrastructure long before AI became a mainstream conversation. What excites me most is the company’s focus on solving practical enterprise challenges through technology that is secure, measurable, and deployable at scale. AgentAnywhere addresses a challenge I have encountered throughout my career—bridging the gap between the promise of AI and what regulated enterprises can confidently deploy. Its sovereign architecture, compliance-first design, and outcome-driven approach create a powerful foundation for the future of enterprise AI. I am equally excited by the opportunities presented by wAnywhere and TalentAnywhere, which address the growing complexities of managing and hiring distributed workforces globally. I look forward to working closely with Siddhartha and the team as we take these platforms into their next phase of innovation and growth.”

Welcoming Kochhar to the leadership team, Siddhartha Chandurkar, Founder and CEO of ShepHertz, said, “We’ve spent more than a decade earning trust in AI that organisations can truly rely on and apply to solve real-world problems. The next phase of our journey is about delivering that trust at far greater scale and speed globally. Anuraag brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise, business acumen, and global leadership experience that makes him the ideal person to help drive that vision forward. I am confident that some of the most defining chapters of the ShepHertz story are still ahead of us, and Anuraag will play a pivotal role in shaping them.”
In his new role, Kochhar will oversee ShepHertz’s technology vision and engineering roadmap, with a focus on accelerating product innovation, improving platform scalability, advancing enterprise AI capabilities and strengthening the company’s proprietary AI-Infused SDLC (AILC) framework. He will also play a key role in expanding AgentAnywhere’s capabilities while supporting the continued growth of workforce intelligence platforms including wAnywhere, BrowseAnywhere and TalentAnywhere.
The appointment comes at a strategic stage in ShepHertz’s growth as enterprises increasingly seek trusted, sovereign AI solutions that can operate within secure governance frameworks. Through its portfolio of applied AI platforms, the company supports enterprises, governments, financial institutions and healthcare providers in deploying AI while maintaining control over security, compliance and business outcomes.
With more than 80,000 registered customers across 150 countries and over 500 billion API calls processed globally, ShepHertz continues to strengthen its position in enterprise AI infrastructure and workforce intelligence solutions.
