Bengaluru: Bengaluru-based creative and marketing agency The Leaf has secured the social media and online reputation management mandate for Rainbow Children’s Hospital and its maternity and fertility brands, BirthRight and BirthRight Fertility, following a competitive multi-agency pitch.
Under the mandate, The Leaf will oversee content strategy, community engagement and reputation management across the healthcare group’s extensive digital ecosystem, which includes more than 100 unit-level social media handles in addition to the primary brand channels.
The appointment marks one of the largest healthcare communications portfolios undertaken by the agency to date and further strengthens its presence in strategic brand communications and digital engagement.
The engagement will span Rainbow’s three core service verticals and will be executed through a structured governance framework aimed at delivering consistency across markets while preserving the empathy, trust and patient-centric approach associated with the Rainbow ecosystem.

Commenting on the partnership, Aditi Nayar, Co-founder, The Leaf, said, “Healthcare communication demands a far higher degree of responsibility and nuance, as every interaction directly impacts families at deeply significant moments in their lives. Our focus will be on building a cohesive, scalable digital narrative that strengthens trust, while staying true to the sensitivity and care that the Rainbow ecosystem represents.”
With this mandate, The Leaf expands its portfolio across sectors and reinforces its growth trajectory as an independent agency. The agency currently works with brands including Under Armour, OPPO, Hyfit Games, Growel and Carniwel.
The win reflects increasing demand for specialised healthcare communications, where digital storytelling, patient engagement and reputation management are becoming critical pillars for building trust and delivering meaningful consumer experiences across healthcare brands.
