Mumbai: Jakson Group has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Maitreyi Tripathyi as Head – Corporate Affairs & Communications, entrusting her with the responsibility of leading the company’s strategic communications and stakeholder engagement agenda.
Tripathyi, who assumed the role four months ago, will oversee corporate communications, brand positioning, reputation management, public affairs, and stakeholder relations across the diversified energy and infrastructure group.
Bringing a blend of media, communications, and public affairs expertise, she joins Jakson Group after serving as Chief Manager – Corporate Affairs at Sterlite Power, where she played a key role in driving corporate communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Over the course of her career, Tripathyi has held leadership and communications roles across organizations including HCLTech and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), building experience in corporate reputation management, public policy engagement, strategic communications, and brand building.
Before transitioning into corporate communications, she spent more than a decade as a broadcast journalist. The experience provided her with a strong foundation in storytelling, media relations, content strategy, and public discourse—skills that have since shaped her leadership approach in corporate affairs and reputation management.
At Jakson Group, Tripathyi is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s brand visibility and strengthening engagement with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry bodies, media, customers, and partners.
Her appointment comes as companies across sectors place increasing emphasis on integrated communications strategies, reputation management, and stakeholder trust amid a rapidly evolving business and regulatory environment. With expertise spanning external and internal communications, crisis management, social media strategy, public relations, and corporate affairs, Tripathyi is well positioned to support Jakson Group’s growth ambitions and strengthen its corporate narrative across diverse business segments.
Jakson Group is an energy and infrastructure company with operations spanning power generation, renewable energy, electrical EPC (engineering, procurement and construction), solar manufacturing, distributed energy solutions, and infrastructure development.
