Mumbai: Chrome DM has released its latest Opportunity to See (OTS) Report for Week 24’26 (June 13–19), offering a detailed view of channel availability and distribution reach across India’s Hindi and English news television landscape.
The report provides insights into channel accessibility across television households and reflects the extent to which viewers had the opportunity to access individual news channels during the reporting period.
According to Chrome DM’s latest analysis, Hindi news channels continued to demonstrate broad market reach, with several leading networks maintaining availability across a significant share of Indian television households.
Hindi News Channels
Among Hindi news broadcasters, Zee News recorded the highest OTS at 98.38%, followed closely by Times Now Navbharat at 98.23% and Aaj Tak at 98.07%.
Other leading Hindi news channels included:
- News18 India – 96.28% OTS
- ABP News – 95.83% OTS

The findings indicate continued strong distribution presence across the Hindi news category, with leading networks maintaining extensive accessibility through multiple television distribution platforms.
English News Channels
In the English news segment, Republic TV emerged as the most widely available channel with an OTS of 94.23%.
The remaining English news channel rankings for Week 24’26 were:
- RT News – 81.68% OTS
- CNN News18 – 76.94% OTS
- India Today – 70.61% OTS
- Mirror Now – 64.74% OTS

Chrome DM stated that the report underscores the importance of channel availability as a key metric for broadcasters, advertisers and distribution stakeholders evaluating network reach and market penetration.
The OTS data is designed to support distribution planning and provide visibility into actual channel accessibility across television households, enabling stakeholders to assess current market presence and identify opportunities for expansion.
OTS (Opportunity to See) is defined as the percentage of connectivity (availability) of a channel across TV households, factoring the off-take of channel packages across all reported distribution platforms in India.
