InsuranceDekho names Sourav Ganguly as Brand Ambassador, unveils ‘Khul Kar Khelo’ Campaign

Gurgaon: InsuranceDekho has appointed former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly as its brand ambassador and launched its latest campaign, ‘Khul Kar Khelo’, aimed at inspiring insurance advisors across Bharat to grow their businesses with confidence. Backed by a network of over 497,000 advisors*, the campaign encourages insurance agents to expand their reach, increase earnings, and build sustainable businesses.

The campaign draws inspiration from Ganguly’s legacy as a fearless leader who backed his team and nurtured a generation of winners. InsuranceDekho positions this spirit alongside the journey of insurance advisors, who operate as micro-entrepreneurs, helping families secure their financial futures while navigating risk and building trust. Through ‘Khul Kar Khelo’, the company urges advisors to embrace growth opportunities with the support of its technology-driven platform.

Commenting on the campaign, Ankit Agrawal, Founder and CEO, InsuranceDekho said, “InsuranceDekho is built on the belief that India’s insurance advisors* are the backbone of financial protection for crores of families, especially in Bharat. Talking about the film, Sourav Ganguly, said, “InsuranceDekho’s mission to put a real financial safety net in the hands of every Indian family deeply resonates with me. I’m proud to stand with the advisors* who are making that happen every day. I’ve always believed that fearlessness is what separates those who play it safe from those who build something lasting.”

The partnership will be brought to life through a new television commercial (TVC) campaign that will roll out across digital and broadcast platforms. The campaign highlights the growth opportunities available to insurance advisors on InsuranceDekho, including AI-backed tools, instant commission payouts, and access to an advisor network covering 98% of Indian PIN codes.

InsuranceDekho’s partner programme provides advisors with access to more than 750 insurance plans across over 50 insurers, AI-powered business tools, and end-to-end support designed to help them expand their businesses efficiently.

The campaign comes on the back of a milestone year for InsuranceDekho. The company closed FY26 as a profitable B2B2C insurtech business and, following the completion of its merger with RenewBuy, the combined entity is set to become one of India’s largest B2B2C insurtech platforms. The merged business reported a gross written premium (GWP) of ₹67 billion in FY26, marking a six-fold increase from FY21.
