Mumbai: Zee Keralam has announced the return of its popular singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs, with Season 2, bringing back its platform for nurturing young musical talent across Kerala. Featuring contestants aged between 4 and 14 years, the new season introduces a regional team format, celebrating the distinct musical traditions of North, Central and South Kerala.
The latest edition aims to build on the show’s legacy of discovering playback singers while adding a competitive regional rivalry. Contestants will represent three teams—Malabar Melodies, led by Sujatha Mohan; Edanadan Beats, mentored by Binny Krishnakumar; and Thekkan Tharangam, guided by Srinivas.
The judging panel comprises veteran playback singer Sujatha Mohan, acclaimed Carnatic vocalist and playback singer Binny Krishnakumar, and celebrated playback singer-composer Srinivas, who will mentor participants throughout the competition.
Popular television host Jeeva Joseph returns to anchor the show, bringing back the familiar warmth and rapport that has been integral to previous seasons.
The show is presented by MYG Future as the title sponsor, with support from Regal Jewellers, UltraTech Cement, Oreo Biscuits, Amcos Paints, RKG, Suntips Tea, Milma, Craze Biscuits, UGS Gold Loan and Josco Jewellers.
