Trivandrum: Amrita TV explores the Directors view on the music being composed on a films which had great musical hit numbers with its new show titled “Directors Music” from October 5th onwards which will be aired on every Sunday between 8pm to 9Pm
“Directors Music” will showcase the perspective of a film director in the music Diaspora of the Malayalam films. Some of the most acclaimed film in Malayalam cinema also have memorable playback music and musical scores, while the contribution of the music directors or composer is well known, the perspective of film maker or directors is rarely discussed.
The new show Directors Music will thus provide glimpse into the thinking of a film maker and his interaction with music composer to develop memorable music for a particular film.
Each one hour episode of Directors Music will focus on most noticeable films, where in besides the directors many other personas and celebrities involved in cinema will comment on the music. the clippings of these unforgettable songs will be played in the show.
The first Episodes features Malayalam cinemas maestros Ramu Kariyattu who directed legendary film and national award winning cinema Chemmeen , Neelakuyil, Ezu rathikal, etc Incidentally Oct 2014 happens to be the 60th Anniversary of Neelakuyil.
The show will also feature other film Directors who will be Featured in subsequent episodes such as K Sethu madhavan, P Bhaskaran, A vincent etc…
