Mumbai: Chrome DM has released its latest Opportunity to See (OTS) report for Week 28 of 2026 (July 11–17), providing insights into the distribution reach and availability of leading Hindi and English news channels across television households in India.

According to the report, Times Now Navbharat led the Hindi news category with an OTS of 98.45%, closely followed by Zee News at 98.38%. Aaj Tak secured third place with 97.93%, while News18 India and ABP News recorded 96.28% and 96.06%, respectively.

OTS PR Creative – 5

In the English news segment, Republic TV emerged as the most widely available channel with an OTS of 94.42%. It was followed by RT News at 81.69%, CNN-News18 at 76.62%, India Today at 71.28%, and Mirror Now at 64.74%.

OTS PR Creative – 6

The report highlights channel availability across television households and serves as a measure of distribution reach rather than viewership. According to Chrome DM, the findings provide broadcasters, advertisers and distribution partners with insights into channel accessibility, enabling them to evaluate market presence and identify opportunities for network expansion and distribution planning.

Opportunity to See (OTS) represents the percentage of TV household connectivity where a channel is available, factoring in the uptake of channel packages across all reported distribution platforms in India.
