Acevector appoints Achint Setia as Snapdeal CEO, Himanshu Chakrawarti to lead Stellaro Brands

Bengaluru: Acevector Limited, the holding company of Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands, has announced two significant leadership appointments to drive the next phase of growth for its businesses. Achint Setia has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Snapdeal, India’s leading value e-commerce platform, while Himanshu Chakrawarti will transition to the role of CEO at Stellaro Brands, a wholly owned subsidiary of Acevector Limited.

Himanshu Chakrawarti, who has successfully led both Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands over the past three years, will now focus exclusively on Stellaro’s growth. With over three decades of experience in retail, Himanshu brings a deep understanding of brand building, having held leadership positions at Trent, Arvind, and Landmark Group. His expertise will be key in driving Stellaro’s brand portfolio and expanding its market presence.

Achint Setia joins Snapdeal as its new CEO, bringing with him nearly 20 years of diverse experience across e-commerce, media, telecom, and technology sectors. Prior to this, Achint served as Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer at Zalora Group (Singapore) and has held leadership roles at Myntra, Viacom18, McKinsey & Co., and Microsoft. He holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and has completed the Stanford GSB LEAD program in Corporate Innovation.

Commenting on the appointments, Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, co-founders of Acevector Limited, said, “We are delighted with the two executive appointments that aim to accelerate further the progress in Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands. Under Himanshu’s leadership, we have seen remarkable progress across Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands, and this transition allows the group to benefit from his experiences by focusing on Stellaro’s growth. Achint’s extensive experience in e-commerce, media, technology, and brand building will add great value to his role as the CEO of Snapdeal and will be instrumental in supporting the business on its growth trajectory. We wish both Achint and Himanshu great success in their new roles.”

With these leadership changes, Acevector Limited aims to further strengthen its portfolio and accelerate growth across both Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands, ensuring a sharper focus on expanding their respective markets and delivering greater value to customers and partners alike.
