Akashneel Dasgupta returns to ADK Fortune as Sr. Vice President

Delhi: ADK Fortune, an equal partnership between Asatsu-DK of Japan and WPP group, hiresADK Fortune, as the Sr. Vice President and Executive Creative Director and he will be based out of the Delhi office.

Akashneel will handle the mandates for clients serviced out of Delhi NCR and Chennai. He had been a part of ADK Fortune earlier and has been an integral part of its growth story over the last 4 years. Interestingly he started his career as a planner and moved on to the creative function over time. He has extensive experience in categories that include F.M.C.G.s, Automobiles, Fashion, Telecom, Healthcare, Consumer Durables, etc.

An alumnus of MICA, Akashneel has spent more than 12 years in the advertising industry. He is an avid quizzer and has been a winner of prestigious quizzes like Tata Crucible & Chaos. He has also been a 3 times National Runners Up at the Brand Equity Quiz and a visiting faculty at management institutes like MICA & ICFAI.

Commenting on the appointment, Subroto Pradhan, Head, ADK Fortune says; “I’m delighted to have Akash back at ADK-Fortune. It’s kind of home coming for him. He has been very much a part of ADK-Fortune’s growth agenda in the past. His coming back strengthens our resolve towards effective creative solutions for our clients. He will lead a very charged up team to produce some exciting creative work on various brands that we handle.”

ADK is Japan’s third largest agency with a strong presence in South East Asia and China. It employs close to 3500 people and has a turnover in the region of 350000 million Yen. WPP also holds 20% share in the parent ADK Japan.
