Hyderabad : The Film and Television fraternity has decided to cancel all the ongoing shootings on August 19th due to the Maha Household survey being conducted by the TRS government in the Telangana State.
All the actors, technicians and support staff are going to be on a holiday to participate and enrol themselves in the Maha household survey conducted by the Telengana Government, which is considered as a first of its kind in the Country itself.
“The television industry in the state has declared complete halt in shooting activities in the state to all the members to participate in the Maha Household Survey being conducted by the Telangana government. We hereby request all the Televsion channels to kindly grant leave for all the actors, actresses, technicians and enumerators,” read a note issued by D Suresh Kumar, President, Telugu Television Technicians and Workers Federation. A similar notification was issued by the Film union body also.
It is also understood that the entire state of Telangana is observing a holiday today and all the Media and Broadcasting Companies also declared a holiday today adhering to the Telangana Goverments initiative.
