Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards, which recognises Actors and Technicians of the Tamil Film Fraternity is back with its 15th edition after two years. The event will take place at Chennai on March 30, 2023.
The awards will be given away for the years 2020, 2021 & 2022. The Lifetime Achievement Award category aka SS Vasan award, named after Vikatan’s late founder SS Vasan, will be given to Director Maniratnam for his spectacular works that paved a new era of in the Indian film making scene.
Critically acclaimed courtroom drama Jai Bhim bags the Best film award for the year 2021 while Natchathiram Nagargiradhu by Pa. Ranjith that talked about inclusiveness in love has won the best film for 2022.
The winners for other categories will be felicitated at the ceremony on 30th March, 2023.
