Chennai : The audio launch of Director Shanker’s Hyper Mega Budget Movie “I”(aka) “Ai” is all set to take place today (15th September) in Chennai. The event will be a grand gala affair with the presence of big celebrities including Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Super Star Rajni Kanth, Kamal Hasan and other big names in the Indian film Industry.
The event has a huge expectation among the audience as the event will be seen as a rarest of the rare moment in the history, as all these stars will be sharing the stage at once and AR Rahman will perform all the songs of the movie live. Tamil Satellite Channel Jaya TV, which has acquired the Satellite rights of the movie, will cover the events exclusively for a telecast at later date.
The audio launch is scheduled to start around 6:30PM at the Nehru Indoor Stadium at Chennai. Due to the exclusivity enjoyed by Jaya TV, other media professionals and journos were barred from carrying any Cameras inside the venue.
Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to fly down to Chennai on a private Jet by Monday morning and before heading to the event, he is schedule to meet the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa around 2:30 PM.
Earlier, Arnold has seen the Trailer of the movie and confirmed his willingness to grace the occasion. He also expressed his wish to meet Ms. Jayalalithaa, which was accepted by her, as they both have a common feature as actor turned politicians in their respective countries.
The music release for the Telugu version “Manoharudu” will be held on 20 September. Jackie Chan will apparently be the chief guest for the Telugu film audio launch that will be happening in Hyderabad.
“Ai” is gearing up for a Diwali release in October. The film’s producer is reportedly planning to release the film in at least 4,000 screens in India. The Vikram starrer is expected to be dubbed in other languages including Hindi, Malayalam, English and Chinese.
Directed by Shankar, “Ai” is one of the most awaited films of 2014. The romantic thriller film has been in the making for nearly two years. Vikram has undergone several physical changes and he will be seen in more than one look.
Vikram appears in different looks including that of werewolf like beast, a stylish looking guy, a body builder and a crippled old man among others. Amy Jackson of “Madarasapattinam” fame plays the female lead in the romantic thriller flick. Suresh Gopi and Bollywood actor Upen Patel are also part of the film’s cast.
