Mumbai: Arvind R P has stepped down from his role as Chief Business Officer (CBO) at McDonald’s India and is currently serving his notice period, bringing to a close a tenure of more than seven years with the quick-service restaurant chain.
During his time as CBO, Arvind oversaw the profit and loss responsibilities for the company’s South India operations, playing a key role in managing the business performance across the region.
Announcing his departure through a LinkedIn post, Arvind reflected on the relationships he built during his career. “Looking back, many of the moments that stand out in my career aren’t just about outcomes or milestones — they’re about the incredible people who were a part of the journey,” he wrote, adding that he had been fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues both at McDonald’s and earlier in his career.
Arvind brings over 25 years of professional experience spanning commercial, marketing and operational leadership roles across multiple sectors, including quick-service restaurants, beauty, fashion and FMCG. His work has largely focused on driving business growth and strengthening brand development.
Over the course of his career, he has been associated with several well-known organisations, including TVS Motor Company, Britannia Industries, Levi Strauss & Co., and Kaya.
