Cochin : The 20th edition of Asianet Film Awards 2018 held recently at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamali, Cochin. Several cinema celebrities and socio-cultural personalities witnessed the event and a huge gathering of around 10,000 audience were present.
Malayalam Star actor Jayaram was hounored for his 3 excellent decades in the film industry across languages.
Nedumudi Venu was conferred the Asianet Life Time Achievement Award by actor Kamal Hassan, for his legendary contribution to Indian Film Industry.
Film stars across the South Indian film industry were present in the event. Leading artists from the Mollywood , Tollywood & Bollywood entertained the audience with their performances.

Fahad Fazil was awarded the best actor of the year while Parvathy was conferred the best actress of the year award. ‘Thodimuthalum Drisakshiyum“ won the award for the best film of the year award that was received by its producers Sandeep Senan& Anish. Mahesh Narayanan won the award for the best director for the movie ‘ Take off “. Jayasurya ,Anu Sithara & Prayaga Martin was on hand to collect the popular award for their outstanding performance in various movies.“ Take Off & Aadu 2 “won the award for the best popular film.
