Asianet is all set to telecast a new fiction show titled ‘Muttathe Mulla’ from 24th July, 2023 and air every Monday to Saturday at 6.30 PM.
The story of the Muttathe Mulla revolves around the life of Aswathy, an ordinary housewife whose life is embroiled in her endless pursuit of desires, luxury, and rivalry. Despite coming from an extremely poor family and having failed her 10th-grade exams, she gets married into a very ordinary joint family as their eldest daughter-in-law. The show tells the story of Aswathy’s excessive luxuries and desires arising out of her inferiority complex, her attempt to show that she is more educated and rich than others, and the resulting rivalries and problems in her family’s life and the lives of others. The show will also feature elements of cheating, betrayal, grudges, revenge, affection, love, and romance.
The lead roles in the serial will be played by actors Niranjan, Arya, Lishoy, Viswam, Gayathri Priya, Anandhu, Chithra, Koottikkal Jayachandran, Balu Menon, and Rajeev.
