Mumbai: Balaji Telefilms Ltd. has announced the rebranding of its premium astrology application, AstroVani by Balaji, which will now be known as Balaji Astro Guide. The updated name has been rolled out across all digital platforms, including the Google Play Store, with the iOS version set to launch shortly.
The rebranding comes in response to the strong market traction the platform has garnered since its launch. As the user base expanded, multiple third-party platforms began appearing with similar-sounding names, leading to potential confusion for users seeking the official Balaji experience. To reinforce brand trust, enhance clarity, and ensure unmistakable recognition, the company has adopted a name that more directly reflects the Balaji identity and clearly communicates the app’s core purpose.

Sanjay Dwivedi, Group CEO, Balaji Telefilms Ltd., said, “The transition to Balaji Astro Guide is a step in reinforcing our brand’s strategic positioning within the spirituality-tech ecosystem. The new nomenclature strengthens brand recall, eliminates ambiguity, and positions the platform as a direct, authoritative guide for astrology, numerology, and spiritual insights under the trusted Balaji umbrella.”
With the rebranded Balaji Astro Guide, the company aims to further solidify its presence in India’s rapidly growing spirituality-tech landscape, offering enriched features and a more distinct brand identity to its expanding user community.
