BARC Week 23: KTV claims No. 3 spot in TN/ Pondicherry market

BARC Week 23: KTV claims No. 3 spot in TN/ Pondicherry market

In the South channel category in Week 23 of BARC data, the top three positions in the chart remained the same compared to last week. Sun TV continued its lead with 2298.28 (000) AMA followed by Star Maa with 2122.72 (000) AMA at the 2nd spot and Star Vijay with 1643.7 (000) AMA at 3rd spot. Zee Kannada shifted one spot up and claimed the 4th position with 1483.0 (000 AMA. Zee Telugu slipped one spot down and stood at 5th position with 1374.42 (000) AMA. 

Tamil (Tamil Nadu/Pondicherry)

Among the Tamil speaking market, Sun TV continued its lead with 2047.71 (000) AMA followed by Star Vijay with 1547.64 (000) AMA at the 2nd spot. KTV shifted one spot up and claimed the 3rd position with 718.01 (000) AMA. Zee Tamil slipped one spot down and stood at 4th position with 706.52 (000) AMA. Star Vijay Super retained its 5th spot with 444.12 (000) AMA.

Kannada (Karnataka) 

In the Kannada speaking market, the positions in the chart remained same compared to last week. Zee Kannada continued its lead with 1468.9 (000) AMA followed by Colors Kannada with 774.75 (000) AMA at the 2nd spot and Udaya TV with 536.65 (000) AMA at 3rd spot. Star Suvarna retained its 4th spot with 465.21 (000) AMA followed by Udaya Movies at 5th spot with 326.48 (000) AMA.

Malayalam (Kerala)

Among the Malayalam speaking market, the positions in the chart remained unchanged compared to last week. Asianet continued its lead with 892.05 (000) AMA followed by Flowers TV with 214.64 (000) AMA at the 2nd spot and Mazhavil Manorama at 3rd spot with 190.1 (000) AMA. Zee Keralam retained its 4th spot with 180.18 (000) AMA followed by Surya TV at 5th spot with 146.41 (000) AMA. 

Telugu (Andhra Pradesh/Telangana) 

In the Telugu speaking market, the positions in the chart remained same compared to last week. Star Maa continued its lead with 1991.61 (000) AMA followed by Zee Telugu at the 2nd spot with 1333.53 (000) AMA and ETV Telugu with 914.73 (000) AMA at the 3rd spot. Gemini TV retained its 4th spot with 678.25 (000) AMA followed by Star Maa Movies with 586.81 (000) AMA at 5th spot.
