BARC India released its Week 34 data for South GEC markets including Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. The positions in the top five list changed for Malayalam GEC market.
Tamil (Tamil Nadu/Pondicherry)
In the Tamil speaking market, the positions in the chart remained same compared to last week. Sun TV continued its lead with 2098.47 (000) AMA followed by Star Vijay with 1367.1 (000) AMA at the 2nd spot and Zee Tamil at 3rd spot with 764.43 (000) AMA. KTV retained its 4th spot with 676.41 (000) AMA followed by Star Vijay Super with 373.62 (000) AMA at 5th spot.
Kannada (Karnataka)
In the Kannada speaking market, the positions in the chart remained unchanged compared to last week. Zee Kannada continued its lead with 1397.33 (000) AMA followed by Colors Kannada with 864.48 (000) AMA at the 2nd spot and Udaya TV at 3rd spot with 483.29 (000) AMA. Star Suvarna stood at 4th spot with 479.27 (000) AMA followed by Udaya Movies at 5th spot with 343.77 (000) AMA.
Malayalam (Kerala)
Among the Malayalam speaking market, Asianet continued its lead with 806.3 (000) AMA followed by Mazhavil Manorama at 2nd spot with 209.28 (000) AMA. Zee Keralam moved one spot up and claimed the 3rd position with 182.08 (000) AMA. Flowers TV slipped one spot down and stood at 4th position with 181.25 (000) AMA. Surya TV retained its 5th spot with 154.85 (000) AMA.
Telugu (Andhra Pradesh/Telangana)
In the Telugu speaking market, the positions in the chart remained same compared to last week. Star Maa continued its lead with 2094.85 (000) AMA followed by Zee Telugu at 2nd spot with 1410.42 (000) AMA and ETV Telugu with 997.55 (000) AMA at the 3rd spot. Gemini TV retained its 4th spot with 607.41 (000) AMA followed by Gemini Movies with 536.14 (000) AMA at 5th spot.
