BARC Wk 48: Star Plus continues to lead Urban HSM; Zee Anmol tops Rural and U+R HSM

BARC Wk 2 : Sony regains top spot in Urban HSM & becomes No. 2 in U+R; Zee Anmol continues to lead Rural

Mumbai : According to the BARC data for week 48, for the period between Week 48: Saturday, 24th November 2018 to Friday, 30th November 2018, Star Plus has continued to lead the HSM Urban market with 508  mn   impressions followed by Zee TV with 468  mn   impressions that has overtaken Sony to occupy the runner up position and the latter settling at No.3 with 432  mn   impressions.  Colors 384  mn   impressions and Star Bharat 366  mn   impressions have retained their rankings standing at the  No.4 and No.5 places respectively. The rankings of the rest of the channels like Sony SAB 297  mn   impressions, Star Utsav 195 mn   impressions, Sony Pal 171  mn   impressions, Zee Anmol 164  mn   impressions and &TV 119  mn   impressions have remained unchanged against week 47.

The Urban + Rural HSM has witnessed a shuffle in the ranking this week while the dominance of Zee Anmol continues with 873   mn   impressions  , Zee TV 761  mn   impressions  has emerged as the runner up taking a leap from its position at No.5 last week. Star Bharat 735  mn   impressions  has scored the 3rd slot followed by Star Plus 733  mn   impressions  that has seen a dip in the ranking this week. Sony Pal 621  mn   impressions  has taken a step ahead occupying the 5th place, while Star Utsav is settled at the 6th slot with 618  mn   impressions  . Sony 578  mn   impressions  and Colors 565   mn   impressions are seen exchanging their previous weeks position standing at the 7th and 8th slots respectively. However, Dangal TV 455  mn   impressions  and Sony SAB 392  mn   impressions    have managed to retain their position at the 9th and 10th places in the top 10 channels chart in week 48.

The Rural HSM is topped by its long time leader Zee Anmol 709  mn   impressions, which is followed by a new runner up this week, Sony Pal with 450 mn   impressions. Star Utsav  423  mn   impressions has dropped to the 3rd place while Star Bharat 369  mn   impressions and Dangal TV 356  mn   impressions have retained their positions at No.4 and No.5 respectively. Rishtey with 270  mn   impressions has moved to the 7th place giving its place to Zee TV that stands at No.6 with 293  mn   impressions. Other channels like Big Magic 233  mn   impressions, Star Plus 225  mn   impressions and Colors 180 mn   impressions have also retained their places in the chart in week 48.
