Beurer India appoints Sourav Ganguly as brand face, plans aggressive growth

In a strategic move, Beurer India Pvt. Ltd. today revealed plans to expand in Indian home health and wellness with Sourav Ganguly as Brand Ambassador. The company announced launching a Made in India Blood Glucose Monitor to revolutionize diabetes management. The announcements were made at a press conference in Bengaluru’s TAJ M.G. Road.

Beurer India is enhancing its make in India program to customize health devices for the Indian market with precision as part of its expansion strategy.

“Our aim is to introduce innovative and quality products that not only meet but exceed the health monitoring requirements of our consumers,” said Stanley Joseph, Director of Beurer India.

The company showcased its commitment to innovation by announcing the launch of a new Blood Glucose Monitor, offering precision, user-friendliness, and affordability. This device will be crucial for Indian diabetes patients.

Salil V.S., Managing Director and CEO of Beurer India, discussed the strategic importance of bringing a high-profile personality like SouravGanguly on board. “Mr.Ganguly’s association with Beurer is more than symbolic. It is central to our strategy of deepening our connection with Indian consumers. His widespread respect, trust and appeal as a sportsperson and a leader make him the perfect ambassador to enhance the visibility of our innovative health solutions,” said Salil.

Sourav Ganguly, speaking about his new role, expressed his enthusiasm for promoting accurate diagnosis and helping them to lead a healthier lifestyle among his fans and the wider public. “Health and well-being” have always been close to my heart, and I am excited to contribute to Beurer’s mission to improve health outcomes in India. The new Blood Glucose Monitor is a prime example of what we aim to achieve – making health monitoring accessible and reliable for everyone,” stated Ganguly.

The press conference highlighted Beurer’s market strategy, focusing on strengthening distribution networks and expanding market reach online and offline, aiming to make their health products accessible to more Indian consumers.

“India is a key market in Beurer’s global strategy. We are committed to investing in the country not just through our products but also by contributing to health education and awareness,” added Joseph.

The company will launch various initiatives to educate the public on regular health monitoring importance and using Beurer products, through community outreach, health camps, and collaborations with healthcare professionals for training and support.

Beurer offers medical devices like blood pressure monitors and nebulizers, therapy equipment such as infrared lights, and wellness products like smart scales and heating options. With over a century of experience, Beurer is a trusted brand known for quality, reliability, and innovation in health and wellness.
