BIG Magic to premier new mythological show ‘Baal Krishna’ on 14th March

Mumbai : BIG Magic, the light-hearted family entertainment channel from Reliance Broadcast Network is amplifying its bouquet of fresh and innovative content as it gears up to launch its new mythological offering titled ‘Baal Krishna’. Premiering March 14, every Monday to Friday at 6:30 PM, ‘Baal Krishna’ will delve into the observations and divine life of Lord Krishna’s childhood, from his perspective. Produced by Swastik Productions – the makers of Mahabharat and Suryaputra Karn.

Baal Krishna is BIG Magic’s second mythological show after Narayan Narayan. The show will take viewers back to the grandeur and royalty of Dwapar Yug, bringing age-old stories back to life.

Viewers will get a chance to witness Lord Krishna’s journey starting from his ‘Natkhat’ childhood, and be subjected to bouts of logical reasoning behind why he did what he did. From picking up the Govardhan Parvat to Killing Putna, Lord Krishna’s narrations will offer a whole new perspective by touching upon various known and lesser known stories from his life.

Talking about the new show, Mr. Bimal Unnikrishnan, Creative Director, BIG Magic said, “While viewers have watched shows related to Lord Krishna on the small screen, BIG Magic’s Baal Krishna will not only explore lesser known stories, but also deal with widely popular stories about Lord Krishna in a fresh and engaging manner, something that has not been witnessed before. Moreover, with our presence on DD Free Dish, we are hopeful that our rapidly growing reach will translate to a wider audience embracing the new show.”

Baal Krishna will see a robust multi-media promotional plan across key markets, which will include a 360 degree marketing campaign.

BIG Magic is available across all DTH players such as Tata Sky, Airtel, Videocon, Dish TV, Reliance DigitalTV along with all cable operators as Hathway, DD Free Dish, Incable, Digicable, DEN, 7 Star, ABS, Siticable, Star Broadband and GTPL amongst others.
