Mumbai: Blum India, the subsidiary of Austrian furniture fittings leader Blum, has rolled out a new ad campaign that injects humor into a traditionally overlooked topic—furniture fittings. The campaign shines a light on common household furniture issues such as creaky doors, stuck drawers, and awkward wall cabinets, while showcasing how Blum’s quality hardware solutions offer long-lasting relief.
Designed to resonate with everyday users, the campaign features a trilogy of witty short films centered around Blum’s flagship products: LEGRABOX drawer systems, CLIP top BLUMOTION hinges, and AVENTOS lift-up systems. The films creatively demonstrate how these products can transform frustrating furniture into smooth, effortless experiences that last for years.
“Though our core market is B2B, we recognize that it’s the end consumers who ultimately live with the furniture. This campaign is about starting a conversation with them in a fun and relatable way,” said Nadeem Patni, Managing Director of Blum India. “Using humor, we’ve been able to connect the dots between everyday struggles and the value of quality fittings.”
The ad films were directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Bauddhayan Mukherji, also known as Buddy, who praised the creative freedom and clarity of vision brought to the table by Blum. “When Nadeem and Neelam proposed a humorous approach, I knew we were onto something exciting. These films are a rare blend of creative ease and storytelling impact,” Mukherji noted.
The campaign is now live across Blum India’s digital platforms, including their YouTube channel and Instagram page, targeting a wider demographic and reinforcing the brand’s commitment to elevating daily living through thoughtful engineering.
