Bombay Shaving Company's #IndiaShavesItsStubble Campaign invites Indians to turn a daily ritual into a mindful revolution with Conscious Shaving
Share Share ShareShare

MUMBAI: Bombay Shaving Company, India’s leading new-age shaving brand, today announced the launch of its most purpose-driven initiative yet — a nationwide campaign for shaving with clear conscious. The new product, Eco Sensi 3 ant Eco-Friendly razor that’s Made in India — was launched during Bombay Shaving Company’s highly anticipated 18-hour store on 18 April, a monthly feature held on the 18th of every month at 6 pm for a duration of 18 hours, exclusively on the website of Bombay Shaving Company.

To drive home the message, Bombay Shaving Company has released a short film titled ‘Where Do All the Razors Go?’, featuring founder, CEO Shantanu Deshpande. The film highlights the environmental impact of using disposable razors and encourages consumers to reflect on the long-term consequences of everyday habits. He urges the new generation to make cleaner and more mindful choices for themselves and the planet.

“The shaving category has long needed a rethink — not just in terms of performance, but in the impact, it leaves behind. Today’s consumers expect more — they want products built with purpose. Eco Sensi 3 is our answer: a razor that performs brilliantly, respects the planet, and is proudly made in India. It reflects our long-term vision to lead grooming into a more intentional, sustainable future. At Bombay Shaving Company, we’re committed to creating products that are Sensi on Skin and Sensi on the Planet” said Deepak Gupta, co-founder, COO, Bombay Shaving Company.

More than a product launch, this campaign marks a cultural shift representing a growing tribe of India’s young Gen Z and millennial consumers choosing to lead with intent — making cleaner choices for their skin and their surroundings.

At the heart of this movement is a simple idea: shaving can care for both the consumer and the planet. There are two kinds of stubbles: one on your face, and one in our fields and landfills. This Earth Day, India shaves both. With Eco Sensi 3, Bombay Shaving Company introduces a razor handle that’s made in India, from coconut shell and rice husk — blending high performance with low environmental impact. The #IndiaShavesItsStubble campaign signals a shift toward a SENSIer future: Sensitive on skin, Sensible for the planet.

Introducing Eco Sensi 3: Performance with Purpose

Eco Sensi 3 is India’s first sustainable razor manufactured locally — a significant step in making conscious shaving accessible to millions. Designed for durability, comfort, and environmental responsibility, the razor is a part of the brand’s larger commitment to reduce plastic waste and champion sustainable innovation in the hair removal space. It is a 3-blade sustainable razor designed to offer a premium grooming experience with a lower environmental footprint.

Key product highlights include:

  • A reusable 100% Eco-friendly handle made coconut shell and rice husk
  • A changeable 3-blade razor cartridge for a smooth, comfortable shave
  • The Launch pack contains Razor Handle with two premium cartridges, priced at Rs. 179

The razor is now available on the Bombay Shaving Company website and will soon be rolled out across key national retail platforms.
