Mumbai: Makarand Narkar and Sonal Vasave, Co-Founders and Creative Directors of Mumbai-based Boomranng Studio, have been named finalists for the globally renowned Young Guns 23 competition, which celebrates outstanding creative professionals aged 30 and under from around the world.
The duo joins a distinguished list of 102 finalists from 18 countries, recognized for their innovation, originality, and creative excellence across disciplines including design, advertising, digital art, and film.
Organized by The One Club for Creativity, Young Guns remains the industry’s only global, cross-disciplinary, portfolio-based awards competition that identifies and honors the next generation of creative leaders. This year’s entries were reviewed by a diverse international jury of 98 creative professionals—many of them past Young Guns winners—representing 41 countries.
The winners of Young Guns 23 will be announced on January 14, 2026, with an in-person celebration scheduled for January 28, 2026, at Sony Hall in New York City.
Each winner will receive a distinctive version of the iconic Young Guns Cube, designed exclusively for this year’s class, along with a permanent profile on the Young Guns website, a complimentary one-year One Club for Creativity membership, and access to the global Young Guns alumni network.
Additionally, for the 11th consecutive year, international artists management agency Levine/Leavitt will present its prestigious Artist In Residence Award to one standout winner, offering a year-long mentorship and professional development program to help propel their creative career.
This year’s program branding and the Cube trophy design have been reimagined by Khyati Trehan (YG19), a celebrated graphic designer and 3D visual artist from New Delhi, now a senior designer at Google Creative Lab in New York and a member of the YG23 jury.
With their recognition on this global stage, Narkar and Vasave’s Boomranng Studio continues to shine as one of India’s most promising young creative agencies, demonstrating the country’s growing influence in the global design and advertising landscape.
