Brands gear up to welcome Maa Durga with musical creative campaigns

Durga Puja is the most awaited festival and is just around the corner with preparations in full swing especially in Kolkatta where the pandals are set with new puja themes. After two years with things back to normal the spirits are very high among the people. 

Brands have come up with musical creative campaigns to welcome Maa Durga and encapsulate the whole-hearted celebrations of the festival spreading cheer and positive vibes among the audience.  

Brands featured are Asian Paints, Croma, ITC Sunrise Spices, Shoppers Stop, Khadim India and Vi.

Asian Paints

Asian Paints Sharad Shamman has nurtured, inspired and championed Bengal’s festive soul, Durga Pujo through the course of 37 years. Paying a musical tribute to the changing tones of Sharodiya, and to celebrate recognition of the festival as a world heritage by UNESCO, Asian Paints has launched their new film for Sharad Shamman.

With every year, they take consumers through the changing colours of culture while adding new shades of innovation, to the topcoats of tradition. 

Croma

Croma, the Omni channel electronics retailer from the Tata Group announces the Durga Pujo celebrations with a Digital Film and Festive Sale with much-awaited offers giving its customers a huge opportunity to win bumper prizes daily. 

The film highlights Croma’s key brand proposition of helping customers choose the right product for their needs and aspirations on the occasion with worry-free post-purchase experience and lifetime service assurance. 

ITC Sunrise Spices

ITC Sunrise Spices, in West Bengal recently launched “Sunrise Durgatinashini” a specially curated music video ahead of West Bengal’s most anticipated festival ‘Durga Puja’. 

Keeping in line with the brand’s endeavour to support women empowerment, Sunrise Durgatinashini is a bold initiative to create awareness among women and enlivening their physical and mental strengths through self-defense practices.

Shoppers Stop

Shoppers Stop, is all set to celebrate Durga Puja with popular Bengali actor Darshana Banik in their new digital campaign. The film encapsulates a whole-hearted celebration of the pujo season.

The 5 days of Pujo ends with an emotional farewell chant of ‘Aasche bochhor aabar hobe’ which means ‘We will celebrate the Durga Pujo again next year’. A new meaning to ‘Aasche bochhor’ has been given in the film to welcome Ma Durga’s arrival this year through the idea ‘Aasche bochhor aasche ghure, chalo shaaji notun kore’ – which means ‘The next year you were looking forward to is now here, lets get ready for the celebration’.

Khadim India

Khadim India, the home grown retail footwear brand launches its new campaign featuring popular YouTubers, Kiran Dutta (The Bong Guy) and Indrani Biswas (Wonder Munna), targeted towards younger audiences in line with the brands vision to be the first choice footwear brand of the entire family.

The campaign highlights the brands’ trinity offering of refreshed instore experience, affordable pricing and fashionable range of products which leads to the “Its Wow, its Khadim” experience.

Vi 

To capture the spirit of Bengal’s biggest festival and formally usher in Durgotsav 2022, leading telecom brand, Vi will host ‘Vi Aagomoni’, one of Kolkata’s iconic and highly anticipated annual cultural events. Vi Aagomoni will bring together grand musical extravaganza to welcome Bengal’s beloved Maa Durga.

The signature Pre-Durgotsav event will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata from 7 pm onwards. The highlights of the evening will include soul uplifting performances by some of India’s most talented artists and musicians from Bollywood and Tollywood such as Javed Ali, Ustad Taufiq Qureshi, Srabanti Chatterjee, Lopamudra Mitra and Dr. Prakash Sontakke to name a few.

Shaan music

Popular singer and composer, Shaan brings an amorous dance song. The song has been composed by him and sung as a duet by him and June Banerjee. 

The announcement of song is being done keeping the puja festivity enjoyment in mind. Shaan himself has featured in the video alongside Trina Saha. It’s a story of two interior designers, the boy who’s very conventional while the girl who is modern and western in her approach. As both are interior designers, a family of Rajbari decided to go with the fusion of traditional and western. So, there begins a fun banter between both the sides while the boy is also seen slyly flirting with the girl.

The music video is going to launch on 26th September 2022.
