CaratLane Trading (CaratLane) has announced the appointment of Avnish Anand, currently Chief Operating Officer, as its new Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Anand was the first employee at CaratLane and part of the founding team, informed an official statement.
On August 19, 2023, Titan Company, which acquired a majority in 2016, had announced the acquisition of the stake held by Founder Mithun Sacheti and his family members. Sancheti, who held the position of CEO, now exits the company.

Mithun has been a pillar of support and a sounding board for all my ideas these past years, so of course it’s sad to see him go. It’s definitely a moment of pride for all of us and we look forward to working more closely with the Titan leadership on this exciting journey.”
Gurukeerthi Gurunathan, another CaratLane veteran credited with building the technology infrastructure, will continue as Chief Technology Officer, the statement added.
