Chennai: Cauvery News, 24×7 Tamil satellite news channel promoted by Cauvery Power trading Chennai Private Ltd, has appointed former CEO of Puthiyathalaimurai TV as its President. He will be responsible for the day to day operations of the channel along with the mandate of driving the channels’ growth in all aspects.
RBU Shyam Kumar will be assuming charge into his new role from 6th June and he is expected to infuse fresh blood into the Channel as part of his strategy to revamp the channel and improve the standard of news dissemination with the best use of world-class infrastructure available with the channel.
He left New Generation Media Corporation as its CEO in December 2017 ending his 9 years stint with the group.
Shyam will be responsible for the entire Operations and P&L of the organization with absolute freedom to run the show as per his discretion and accelerate the channel towards growth path.
